I was walking in Kaleiçi when I saw a selection of paintings in the street so I took their photographs and then searched for the artist. I found Hakan Tazecan who is the painter of some of the paintings and is also a fine art dealer.
He displays and sells the work of a group of painters from Antalya. Here are the photographs of the paintings. If you would like to buy any of them contact Hakan at halihan@ttmail.com or phone him on 0090 532 575 7350.
The address is
Barbaros Mahallesi,
Hesapçı Sok, No.12,
Kaleiçi
Antalya

I was walking in Kaleiçi and men Yalçin Yalinli who is a former restaurant owner in Kaleiçi. He offered me a cup of tea and when we got talking he asked if I could help him find a business partner so that he can get back into the restaurant business again.
I also had a wee look through one of his old comments books which was quite interesting and he certainly had lots of positive feedback.

If you would like to get in touch with Yalçin you can do so at yalcinyalinli@hotmail.com or by phoning 0538 885 6146.

I was walking around Kaleiçi and heard some nice traditional Turkish music so I followed it and ended up in Türku Bar which as you can see has an outstanding view of Kaleiçi and the ocean.

Walking through the streets of Kaleiçi with my son we stopped at a man selling Geometric Pattern making equipment (to give it it’s fancy name) and so I got a quick demonstration for you on video.
At only 3 Lira it has to be considered a bargain…of sorts anyway.
