A friend of mine who has lived here in Antalya for 6 years now asked me if I knew about the Ancient Ruins in the mountains. I hadn’t and so he offered to take me there.

They are actually on the Lycian Way walk I believe and we got to them by going through the town of Cakilar just 10 minutes drive from Konyaalti where I live.

The ruins are situated at the top of a mountain and the site itself is quite large with a temple at the top. After coming down to where we parked the car we we took a 5 minute drive to an old Monastery.
