Would you believe it sometimes rain in Antalya? Here is a video of thunder and lightning taken from my balcony a couple of weeks ago….yes, it is that exciting!!

Thankfully, Summer appears to be well on it’s way now with temperatures in their 20′s. Yee-haa.

The video below is a short interview I done with James Bultema the Pastor of the St Paul Union Church in Kalieci in Antalya.  He was a really nice guy and to be honest I wanted to go a lot deeper than I did in this interview but it gives a good overall impression of James and the St Paul Centre which is really a valuable place for expats and also Turkish people to socialise in Kaleiçi in Antlaya.

I’ve been living in Konyaalti in Antalya for over a year now and I’ve always wanted to visit the restaurant on top of the hill at the end of the beach so I arranged a trip there yesterday with my friend Leon which you can view below.

As you can see there are two videos of the Antalya Marathon. The first one is a video blog and the second one is a photo video of the highlights but you can just watch the slideshow below if you prefer. I unfortunately never found out about the Marathon until it was too late to enter but I will keep it in mind and maybe enter the 10km race next year. I mean I’m not crazy enough to enter the Marathon or even the Half Marathon for that matter. I did have a lot of admiration though for all the folks that did take part in the race.
